This book has all that is needed for starting with Angular2 (and much more). It covers practicly everything from configuration to testing. I was suspicious about this book because of the price but it turned to be the best Angular2 book I have read so far.

All examples are in typescript.

But it is true anyway. Extremely well written, easy to understand and comprehensive. The price is unbelievably cheap but the quality is superb.

I have to give five stars to book costing nothing. It is hard to believe it. Angular 4 got a lot of features, and it is not very learned. I feel angular is complex even with a ton of web experience. Vue.js is simpler, but you have to learn what pays your bill…sad part being in IT.

Disclaimer: I’m only about 1/3 of the way through this book, but I’m already hooked. I’ve been going over to the Angular io tutorial to compare; this book has explained a lot of things that I just wasn’t “getting” in the tutorial (hence my search for a book). There are a few typos–the Property & Event Binding chapter, for example, has the code listing from the previous chapter. But, the fact that I was able to figure that out from the text is testament to the solid writing, as I am completely new to Angular.

Asim is the best! He is clear and concise and he never leaves you hanging. He keeps his courses up to date and will respond to any valid question. I highly recommend this book and his corresponding Angular 4 course on Udemy (or any of his courses for that matter). If you want to hit the ground running with Angular, start here.

I probably have to go through the book a couple more times. The author did a great job but angular is a big framework with lots of things to learn before being able to build real world apps from start to finish.

I have been experimenting with Angular 2 for more than 9 months. This book is simply the best book I have read on Angular 2. It covers the basic and advanced topics from theories to practicals and have links to sample code in Plunker. If you are the type that learn technology by reading books, read this free book.

Thanks Asim.
