That said, devs who were C++ and Java familiar latched on to it early; I don’t think it would have taken off otherwise.

Angular serves as an example for what front-end libraries and frameworks can do, but it’s hardly ideal.

Angular 2 probably should have had a different name entirely and I think is Google’s attempt to woo MS devs from .NET to an open source platform that was robust enough for business.

For your common agency and your independent dev, React is probably the best option, VueJS is awesome for smaller projects, too.
