Combining Multiple Firebase Queries Into Single Array via /r/angularjs #angular #angularjs

  • I have an angularjs app using firebase and the realtime database for storage.
  • I have an object collection called ‘/stream’ that holds objects that reference different collections i.e. – – I want to pull the entire ‘/stream’ collection, which is easy enough.
  • But then I want to iterate over each object within the stream collection, running a query on the collection that is specified by the object.
  • Is this possible with my current database structure?
  • Note that I am using AngularFire for my firebase interaction.

I have an angularjs app using firebase and the realtime database for storage. I have an object collection called ‘/stream’ that holds objects that reference different collections i.e.

I want to pull the entire ‘/stream’ collection, which is easy enough. But then I want to iterate over each object within the stream collection, running a query on the collection that is specified by the object. The query results will then be stored in a single array that I can iterate over in my template.

Is this possible with my current database structure? Note that I am using AngularFire for my firebase interaction.
