Galvanize Seattle Web Development Capstone Showcase

  • We have selected our candidates for quantitative ability and background, programming experience, business acumen, and communication skills.
  • They have spent the last 24 weeks in an immersive hands-on, project-based web development training course focused on HTML, CSS, Javascript (Node, Express, Angular, React), databases (Mongo, Postgres), and object oriented programming.
  • Each student spends the last two weeks of the program on a self-directed project building a full stack web application and the Capstone Showcase provides a chance for our graduates to demonstrate their creativity and technical expertise.
  • 2:00 PM – Arrivals

    2:30 PM – Welcome, Galvanize and Panel Introductions

    3:00 PM – Capstone Project Presentations

    Listen to our graduates present an overview of their personal projects.

  • 5:00 PM – Networking Happy Hour

    Connect with the graduates in a less formal setting and learn more about their projects and backgrounds.

Meet our July 2017 Web Development Immersive Graduates:

We have selected our candidates for quantitative ability and background, programming experience, business acumen, and communication skills. They have spent the last 24 weeks in an immersive hands-on, project-based web development training course focused on HTML, CSS, Javascript (Node, Express, Angular, React), databases (Mongo, Postgres), and object oriented programming.

Each student spends the last two weeks of the program on a self-directed project building a full stack web application and the Capstone Showcase provides a chance for our graduates to demonstrate their creativity and technical expertise.

Galvanize Capstone Showcase Schedule (July 27th):

2:00 PM – Arrivals

2:30 PM – Welcome, Galvanize and Panel Introductions

3:00 PM – Capstone Project Presentations

Listen to our graduates present an overview of their personal projects. They’ll explain what they’ve built, show off the technical details, and answer brief questions from the audience.

5:00 PM – Networking Happy Hour

Connect with the graduates in a less formal setting and learn more about their projects and backgrounds. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any questions of the staff.

6:30 PM – Closing
