Description:

This class runs two days, 2/7 and 2/9 (Tuesday and Thursday), from 7-9 pm.

AngularJS is a tool to build dynamic web applications with just JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You can build fairly complicated applications with very little code. This workshop is for people who are new to Angular JS. We’ll review core JavaScript concepts, introduce you to MVC (Model, View, Controller) design patterns, and then do some hands-on development.

Prerequisites:

You’ll need basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You don’t need programming experience, but you do need to be familiar with front-end web technologies. If you have taken HTML/CSS for Beginners and Javascript for Beginners with us, you’ll be fine.

If you have any questions or would like guidance, please don’t hesitate to email me at: [masked]

About the teacher:

Vanessa is a GIS and Data Engineer with a startup called Create. She originally studied Environmental Science and worked with plants and trees for a long time. After a while she got a crazy idea in her head that she could become an engineer and she went for it. Two years later she has gone from knowing zero programming to being a professional engineer. She is so excited to be teaching GDI and is always available to chat about tech, trees, or rock climbing.
